Handbags - Confessions from a Man

I am a dude. I explicitly confess I don’t know much about bags or fashion when compared to dear girlfriend who happens to be the editor of this blog. But what I do know is that I’m an ultra natural at sniffing and looking out for hot and classy babes. Hot women rarely escape my Chinese radar (eyes)

Let me tell you what makes a women steaming hot besides having a face like Angelina Jolie, a body like Jessica Alba, and boobs like Pamela Anderson. If you don’t have those I just mentioned, don’t fret, all hope is not lost. The male creature is not as simple and animalistic as you girls think.

Modern males are becoming much like women. We enjoy the occasional candle light dinner, intellectual chatter and feasting our eyes on what women wear. In short, details matter. The modern male appreciates women who take the effort to match their shoes with the dress they put on and the bag they carry.

Gone are the days where men only want to look at naked women. The modern and educated male enjoys looking at matching outfits, sexy shoes, and bags which says something about the owner. The trick here is to dress up so men will want to dress you down more badly. Men like what they cannot get so it’s important that girls make that statement loud and clear. This statement can be made through the bags you girls carry.

Handbags are to women what watches are to men. A Tag Heuer Grand Carrera tells women that the male owner is sophisticated and fully loaded (in the bank). Similarly, a Burberry bag tells men that the woman belongs to a class whose panties aren’t very easy to take off. I know this because my girlfriend owns a Burberry. I suffered tremendously but I’m glad I lived to tell this tale.

The Little Black Book of Style

The Burberry Blue Label handbag is undoubtedly an iconic fashion phenomenon. The range has indeed became an international hit, so widely recognized to an extent this sister brand from Japan has become as popular as the all time classic Burberry London.

Not only that Burberry Blue Label is exceedingly trendy, it is also very youthful in style as it comes in vibrant shades of colours and a variety of funky designs. Always something for everyone.

This range is definitely a must have for all you bagaholics out there. The ultimate addition to your wardrobe. Guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

Today as we woman know it, a handbag is no more regarded as a “fashion” accessory but a “necessary” accessory to a great outfit. Wearing the same bag day in and day out just won’t do. I must say, it will be the ultimate fashion faux pas to parade in that lovely Balenciaga evening dress with an over sized canvas tote bag by your side.

According to Nina Garcia, author of The Little Black Book of Style, a woman needs at least three different bags in her wardrobe. A large, practical tote or shoulder bag, a clutch purse for evenings and medium sized bag which is versatile for all manner of day wear.

For handbag fanatics, owning 3 different kinds of purses is simply not enough. Designer purses have become an integral part of a woman’s wardrobe.

With so many styles to choose from, let's start with the beauties I have in hand right now.

Feast your eyes, and enjoy! :)
